Being creative in the world of fashion is highly important. When it comes to binging in creativity then there are many options one can consider, such as travelling to new places, checking out the work of others, etc. This is the reason why I always love attending fashion shows in other cities. My last visit to Udaipur was one such trip, and I was there to attend a fashion show. Even though the place where I live that is Jaipur isn’t very far or different from Udaipur, but travelling is always fun.
For small distance journey, railway is the best option in India. This is the reason why I started looking for trains from Jaipur to Udaipur. After searching a little, I decided to book my berth in Jaipur Udaipur City Superfast Special (09721). From Jaipur to Udaipur, the rail distance is 428 kms, and this train takes 7 hours to complete the journey. Finally the day arrived and I was at the railway junction of Jaipur. The train arrived exactly on time, i.e. at 06:15 am.

AC chair car category of trains is quite apt for small journeys, and hence I didn’t feel any kind of discomfort during those 7 hours. Since it was superfast train, therefore hardly any significant amount of delay was made. By the time the train arrived at the Udaipur station, it was 13:30 hours. Now, it was the time for me to head towards the hotel that I had booked. I was a little tired after the journey, and fortunately the hotel was selected perfectly by me.
After booking my train tickets, I did some good amount of planning regarding the selection of hotel in Udaipur. Quite obviously, there are numerous online travel portals available these days and hence looking into the hotel options wasn’t difficult. I had some Udaipur hotels in mind, such as The Ananta Udaipur, Hotel Ashish Palace, Treebo Vatika Inn, and Hotel Gorbandh Udaipur.

During the selection process, I checked out the reviews, the location, and the tariffs associated with the hotels mentioned above. After careful consideration, I went ahead with Hotel Gorbandh Udaipur. Located close to City Center, this hotel is quite a good option for the shopaholics.
Shopping in Udaipur is always fun
Once I reached the hotel, I had some good food and a powerful nap. In the evening, it was time for some shopping. The hotel manager had suggested me two wonderful places for shopping, and they were-
Shilpgram Udaipur– It was only 3 km away from the city center, and if you have penchant for handicraft items and rural arts then it is a must check out place for you. I loved almost everything about its rustic ambience, and the art works were the true representation of Rajasthani culture.
The Celebration Mall– Located at Bhuwana, this modern mall offered me a good reason to spend my money on clothes, fashion accessories, and footwear as well. I also watched a movie in one of the multiplexes. At the end of the day, I had a big smile on my face.
